Dr Rupert Berkeley is a Consultant Radiologist with subspecialty interests in musculoskeletal and thoracic imaging. He graduated from UCL Medical School with distinction in clinical practice, a 1st class intercalated degree and one of the Sheila Sherlock Prizes. His core and subspecialty radiology training was at The Royal London, St Bartholomew's and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. Subsequently he undertook a Fellowship in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2021.

He has a specialist interest in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, including image-guided musculoskeletal procedures, and has published multiple peer-reviewed original papers, review articles and book chapters on topics within the sphere of musculoskeletal radiology.  Rupert is also one of the thoracic radiologists at the Kent Oncology Centre and a core member of the lung cancer team.

He is a member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists and the British Society for Thoracic Imaging.
